Jim Richman is a highly experienced radio broadcaster whose career spans several decades. He began as a DJ on Radio Caroline before leaving the station in 1966 to take up a residency at London's legendary Marquee Club on Wardour Street. In 1977, Jim joined Radio Lion at Guildford Hospital, where he remained until the station closed in April 2014. During his career, he also presented on Radio Jackie (1984–1985) and Hayes FM. Between 2005 and 2009, he returned to Radio Caroline for a second stint behind the microphone.

Today, Jim continues to work as a freelance broadcaster and is part of the team at Copper Coast Radio.

Jim says: "I enjoy working in radio because it's what I do best and I hope our listeners feel the same. Copper Coast Radio offers something different, with a strong local focus that's so important to the communities of Waterford and Tramore."
