Several schools in Tramore have closed today following a burst water main near Tramore Racecourse in Crobally.
Customers in Tramore, Butlerstown and surrounding areas may experience reduced water pressure or supply interruptions while repair works are ongoing.
The issue has been reported to Uisce Éireann, which has indicated that water supply is expected to be restored by approximately 3pm today.
Due to the disruption, Holy Cross School, Glór na Mara Primary School and Ard Scoil na Mara have closed for the day. Educate Together Tramore and Gaelscoil Philib Barún remain open for the time being.
Parents and guardians are advised to keep an eye on updates from individual schools as the situation continues to evolve.
