South East Mountain Rescue (SEMRA) responded to two separate call-outs over the weekend after walkers ran into difficulties in the Galtee and Comeragh mountain ranges. One of the incidents required the walkers to be airlifted by helicopter to safety.
According to a SEMRA spokesperson, the two call-outs—on different mountain ranges—occurred just ten minutes apart on Saturday, January 10.
